What is better, Hulu or YouTube TV?

I'm looking for the best streaming service, focusing on live sports and having a decent selection of on-demand movies. Price matters, but I'm also concerned about the user interface and how easy it is to navigate. Are there specific channels that are only on one service and not the other that I should consider?

YouTube TV is generally better for sports due to its broader channel selection, including many regional sports networks (RSNs). Hulu + Live TV has ESPN+ integrated into its interface, which is a plus for some sports fans, but its RSN coverage is weaker. Regarding on-demand movies, both offer a similar library, although Hulu has the edge with its original content. The user interface is subjective; some find YouTube TV cleaner, while others prefer Hulu's layout. Channel availability depends on your location, so cross-check the channel lineups for your specific area before making a decision. Finally, consider the number of simultaneous streams allowed, as this differs between the two platforms and might be relevant for your household.

YouTube TV is generally better for sports due to its wider range of channels, including many regional sports networks (RSNs). Hulu + Live TV carries some RSNs but not all. Both offer local channels, but coverage varies by location; double-check availability for your zip code on their websites. YouTube TV's DVR is unlimited and saves recordings for 9 months, while Hulu's upgraded DVR (required for unlimited) only keeps them for a shorter period. Both are within your budget, but YouTube TV might be slightly cheaper depending on current promotional offers. Consider free trials to test the interfaces.
