Steelcase Leap vs Secretlab Titan Evo - which one to choose?

I'm primarily working from home now, and my back is killing me using this old kitchen chair. I'm willing to invest in a decent office chair, but I'm torn. The Steelcase Leap seems like the gold standard for ergonomics, but the Secretlab Titan Evo is so much cheaper and gets good reviews, especially from gamers who spend long hours sitting. Is the Leap worth the significant price jump, or is the Titan Evo good enough for all-day work?

If you value adjustability and long-term comfort, the Leap is likely the better choice. The Titan Evo, while good, tends to prioritize a firmer seat and may not offer the same level of customization for different body types or sitting preferences. Consider how much you value micro-adjustments to lumbar support and seat depth; the Leap excels here. If you want to save money and prefer a more rigid feel, the Titan Evo is solid. But for true ergonomic support throughout the workday, especially if you have pre-existing back issues, the Leap is worth the premium.

The Leap is the better choice for all-day comfort and superior ergonomics, especially if gaming aesthetics are not a priority. Its adjustable lumbar support and flexible back will likely provide better long-term comfort for your back issues. The Titan Evo is a decent chair, but it's designed more for gaming and its ergonomics aren't as refined as the Leap.
